Mr. Spriggs has been the school Administrator at CCA since 2008. Before that, he taught Mathematics and Computers at Cape Christian Academy. He is excited about the growth here at school, especially the spiritual growth seen in each of the children. His favorite Bible verse is James 4:8 which says “Draw close to God and He will draw close to you.” The Spriggs family attends Cape Island Baptist Church.

In addition to being the Director of our Early Learning Center, Mrs. Rosenberg also works as a Director for our summer camp program and teaches several high school classes. She considers it a blessing and a joy to see her children grow and develop in both their faith and their knowledge of the world around them. “The students at CCA are awesome and their desire to learn is contagious.” In her free time, she is busy with her church and loves traveling with family and friends. The Rosenberg family attends Cape Island Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jessica Quirk, our new toddler room teacher,  is married with two young sons and one daughter, students at CCA. She strongly believes that sharing the love of Jesus with young children is the foundation for the rest of their lives.  She is currently attending school and pursuing early education.  Her favorite verse is Matthew  19:14 “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For the kingdom  belongs to such as these.”

This is Mrs. Springer’s fifth year teaching our Kindergarten program. She loves teaching them God’s word and getting to know her students. Kindergarten is filled with lots of firsts and she loves to foster their incredible growth during this time. Mrs. Springer believes that building an encouraging and welcoming classroom culture helps her students thrive not only academically and socially, but spiritually as well. She attends Calvary Chapel Cape May. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”

A veteran teacher at CCA of 18 years, Miss Piccirilli is also an equestrian riding instructor at a local farm. She enjoys exercising at the gym or taking long walks on the beach. She also loves playing miniature golf with her five-year-old nephew. At school, she is grateful for the freedom to teach the Bible and to be able to incorporate biblical instruction through all the disciplines. Her favorite scripture is Romans 5:8 which outlines God’s plan for salvation, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” She attends Central Bible Church in Wildwood.

Mr. Rhoads is a South Jersey native, U.S. Air Force veteran, and Ivy League graduate. With over a decade of experience in education and youth sports, Mr. Rhoads is an accomplished youth and collegiate ice hockey coach as well as a successful small business owner. He credits his Christian education and upbringing for his accomplishments and strives to live by one of his favorite Bible verses, Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

This is Mrs. Hanna’s third year teaching 2nd grade and 4th grade at CCA. Before that, she worked in Philadelphia teaching all subjects to 1st-3rd grade students,  where she became well-versed in teaching students with highly traumatic experiences in their backgrounds. Mrs. Hanna has worked in public school districts including Buena Regional School District (2nd, 4th, and 5th grades)  Weymouth Township Elementary School (1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th grades), and Collings Lakes School (2nd and 3rd grades). Additionally, she has been heavily involved in Bible School and Vacation Bible School at Milmay Christian Church for more than 20 years. She looks forward to spending the rest of her career watching the children of CCA grow up and developing into fine Christians. Mrs. Hanna’s favorite Bible verse is Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.  And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Mrs. Katie Pierson is our new 5th/6th grade teacher. She lives in Cape May with her husband and 4 children, all of whom attend Cape Christian. They are a proud Coast Guard family who love the Lord. Mrs. Pierson is a US Coast Guard veteran and loves to bring her background into her teaching. She believes that the love of Christ is the foundation for all children to grow and learn. Her favorite scripture verse is 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17: “May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. For nearly 10 years, Mrs. Arena has enjoyed assisting the school in various capacities, dedicating much of that time to promoting CCA and working in the school office. For the last several years, she has taught several junior high and high school classes. With a background in long-term care, marketing, and freelance writing, Mrs. Arena brings a diverse knowledge base of experiences to her position. Originally, she pursued a degree in Anthropology/Archaeology before switching majors. Married, with one son, she is an active member of the Lighthouse Church. In her free time, she enjoys walking her yellow lab, Indy, and reading. Her favorite verse is 2 Timothy 1:7.

Ted Elliott
Ted Elliott has been with Cape Christian Academy as the Extended Care Teacher and also holds the Maintenance title for the school.  Ted also has been a CCA Summer Camp Teacher for 6 years. Ted is finishing his last semester at Atlantic Cape Community College with his Associates in Liberal Arts, specializing in K-12 Education. He plans to pursue his Bachelors in K-12 Education and will be studying for his principal’s and superintendent licenses.

Ted is also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Goshen where he holds the titles of church Clerk, Trustee and much more. and stayed on to become the school librarian. She loves making reading come alive to young children. In her free time, Mrs. Devitt enjoys participating in a ladies Bible study, gardening and buying books. She and her husband Tom are members of First Baptist Church in Cape May Court House. In addition, since November 2013, Dr Boyle has been teaching Business Courses at Wilmington University. Tammy enjoys spending her free time with her family, friends, her horse, and editing videos.

Mrs. Gail Pavlik

She recently retired from Ridgefield Connecticut Public School District after 17 years as a school nurse for the middle school student population. Gail’s nursing background includes pediatric nursing for St. Mary’s Hospital for Children, Long Island, N.Y. and fifteen years working in the operating room as a CNOR (Certified Nurse-Operating Room). Upon retirement from school nursing, she wanted to continue to work part-time in the school nursing field and is very thankful that she discovered that CCA needed part-time nursing services. Mrs. Chambers has been the secretary for Cape Christian since 2008. Her 2 children started in Kindergarten and graduated in 2015 and 2017.  She now has the pleasure of one of her grandsons attending.  “This certainly has been a wonderful  job and Mr. Spriggs has been and still is an extraordinary boss.”  “It is a pleasure working at Cape Christian Academy, I have great coworkers and friends here.”

Mrs. Chambers and her husband are residents of Middle Township and will be married for 37 years December 2023.  Her favorite bible verse is  1 Corinthians 16:13-14 “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.”

For nearly 14 years, Elizabeth Gray has enjoyed assisting the school in various capacities, dedicating much of that time to promoting CCA in creative ways using social media measures. Elizabeth knows well that during troubled times it won’t be Math or Reading that will get her through but it will be a deep spiritual relationship with her Heavenly Father.  With a background in technology and marketing, Elizabeth adds a unique flavor to the staff of Cape Christian. Whether she is fixing the website or teaching music lessons to students, she loves to be part of the team. Elizabeth is married with three children. Her favorite verse is Proverbs 31:8-9 “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

Deb Nemerofsky

Mrs. Nemerofsky is our new supplemental services teacher. But education is
actually Mrs. Nemerofsky’s second career. She is a board-certified Medical
Technologist, who worked at CHOP for several years in the Infectious Disease
department. She is published in that field. Mrs. Nemerofsky then opted to enter
education, so she returned to school to obtain her NJ teaching certificates, and
spent 23 years teaching middle school science in the Cherry Hill district. She was
the vocal director for several school musical productions.
Mrs. Nemerofsky has two grown sons, and two grandchildren whom she loves
spending time with. Her favorite verse is Isaiah 55:9 “For as the heavens are
higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts
than your thoughts”. Mrs. Nemerofsky and her husband attend Revolve Church.

Mrs. Alexis Chambers, or as the kids call her “Mrs Lex”, has been working with children for the past 5 years. Before Cape Christian Academy, Alexis worked for Lower Township Elementary School in the transportation department. Alexis enjoys teaching the kids and getting to know all the different personalities in her room. On her off time, She enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs, and family. Her favorite verse is 1 Corinthians 13:13,  “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love!”

Mrs. Gabrielle Davis is a passionate and committed teacher at Cape Christian Academy who is committed in every aspect of her life to serve and honor her king, the Lord Jesus Christ. The opportunity to teach in a Christian school gives her a platform to pour into children with knowledge and love, with the driving purpose of making Godʼs name known to the next generation of children. She has an associates degree from Gloucester County Community college, and plans on furthering her education. Gabrielle and her husband lead a discipleship group at Revolve Church, and volunteer in the churchʼs nursery program. Her favorite verses are Philippians 4:6-7 “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Mrs. Rosario has worked in Childcare and education for the last two years, this will be her third year and her first year with Cape Christian Academy as the infant teacher. She has worked and cared for all age groups and even children with disabilities such as autism. She has great compassion for all children and really enjoys her time with them. Mrs. Rosario is married and really enjoys spending time with her husband and being an active member in their church community. Her love in christ, motivates her to be the best person she can be and her faith is her strength. Her favorite Bible verse is “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity”.
