Haiti Mission Trip

Posted by John Spriggs on Friday, March 23, 2018 @ 12:19 PM

Our senior class will be going on a mission trip to Haiti April 4-10, 2018 to minister to the impoverished people of Haiti. As Haiti is the poorest of third world countries in the eastern hemisphere, many basic needs are unmet including shelter, food, and medicine. As malnutrition is rampid, our students will be giving families rice, beans, goats, pigs, and vitamins, partnering with the ministry Feed My Sheep. They will also be working in the medical clinic deworming children, building a perimeter wall around an orphanage, painting murals for the orphans and working on updating any outdated technology they have.

Please continue to pray for our students, especially during their trip. The students are specifically asking for prayer for protection, as crime is very common. Lord, we thank you for this great opportunity for us to be your hands and feet to these precious people whom you care about deeply. Thank you for your protective hand upon each of their lives. Please bless each student as they reach out in blessing others in desperate need. We are excited to demonstrate your awesome love and bring your Holy Word and wonderful salvation!
