Available Positions:

Early Learning Center (ELC) Teacher | Early Learning Center (ELC) Aide | Substitute Teachers

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay: $16.00 – $16.50 per hour
  • Employment Types: Full-time or Part-time (up to 40 hours per week) | Schedule: 10 hour shifts, 8 hour shifts, 4 hour shifts.

Administrative Team Opportunity

We are also seeking qualified candidates to join our administration team, working alongside a committed group of educators in a faith-based environment. Candidates should be:

  • Active members of a Christian church, dedicated to Christian faith and principles
  • Holders of a Bachelor’s degree in education, administration, or a related field
  • Experienced in school administration (minimum two years) or have five years of full-time teaching experience
  • Excellent in organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with an ability to manage time effectively
  • Knowledgeable in education policies, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to inspire and lead staff and students

School Nurse

Cape Christian Academy is seeking a part-time school nurse to join our team. Flexible hours and days. Optimally 2 to 3 hours a day for 3 to 5 days a week. Great opportunity for a retired or semi-retired RN looking to be involved Great working environment!

Summer Camp Teacher

We are seeking a Summer Camp Teacher and Assistant Teachers to join our team!

Development Director

It is the Development Director’s duty and responsibility to perform all the terms of the following job description in an effective and efficient manner at the direction of the Administrator, and in accordance with Board Policy

  • Maintain registration records/forms
  • Process registration packets when received from new and existing families
  • Provide administration with enrollment reports
  • Personally contact all prospective families
  • Conduct school tours / educational consultation
  • Primary custodian to maintain up-to-date database for all school students and families (Renweb)
  • Maintain up-to-date Donor/Development database for mail outs
  • Maintain up-to-date Grandparent database (Renweb)
  • Maintain up-to-date Church database
  • Maintain up-to-date Volunteer database
  • Keep Cougar Track mailing list up to date (Renweb)
  • Thank you letters/Receipts
  • End of year donation letters (coordinate with bookkeeper)
  • Assist with end of the year Academic Awards
  • Coordinate student and teacher birthday card distribution
  • Letterhead, envelopes, brochures, business cards, casual dress cards, program covers, name badges, tickets for plays, banquets, etc., invitations, flyers for events/fundraisers, covers for handbook, personnel policy manual, fire drill escape route, etc.
  • Cougar Chronicles (twice a year newsletter)
  • CCA Telephone Directory (online through Renweb)
  • Website maintenance
  • Place business/school event ads with local newspapers and radio stations upon approval of Academic Administrator
  • Issue press releases for all school events, honor rolls, school news
  • Update Social Media Regularly (Facebook & Instagram)
  • Liaison to media: Radio Stations, Newspapers
  • Thank you correspondence to volunteers and donors of gifts in kind
  • Coordinate Corporate Programs such Box Tops for Education
  • Develop yearly events such as : Back to School BBQ, Back to School Night, Walk-A-Thon, Fall/Spring Book Fair, Christmas Shoppe, Grandparents Day, Pastor Appreciation, Spring Meeting / Talent Show,
  • Attend the following CCA outreaches and develop relationships:
  • Back to School Night
  • Walk-a-Thon
  • Grandparents Day
  • Pastor Appreciation Breakfast
  • Athletic Field Sign Program
  • Help in various ways with the following: Storybook Day, Fall Fest, Read to Succeed, June Jubilee
  • Assist PTF with copying/distributing flyers etc.
  • Mail out Committee
  • Update Parent Emergency Call Chain (Bloomz/BrightArrow)
  • Purchase orders for office supplies
  • School Mail/Bulk Mail outs
  • Develop and maintain program where each active church provides a liaison to help promote CCA
  • Help promote same churches within CCA
  • Coordinate prayer requests with teachers, staff and students and send our regular prayer request email
  • Qualifications
  • Strong fundraising and marketing skills, with a focus on strategic planning
  • Effective event planning and relationship management expertise
  • Proficient in social media management and volunteer coordination

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week(Evenings and Weekends as needed)
